Composition 2 - Mixtape 1999

This is a 90 mixtape that was passed around in 1999 and 2000 when people still had cassette decks. Mixed on two decks, and the mixing might be a little better than the mixing on Afrika Aware.

Hey - Love your sets. I still have composition 1 on tape, but the sound quality's going to shit - any chance that'll be downloadable here? Great stuff - some insane mixing on side 2. Would really love to have that as an MP3, if you've got it lying around, it's an amazing tape and I still listen to it, 8 years later. And thanks for the other tracks! -

Hey Geoff-
Glad you like my stuff. The only reason I have Comp 2 on tape is because I recorded it to my hard drive, so I could cut it into two 46 minute segments a little easier. Comp 1 was mastered to tape, and I haven't ever put that on my computer. Want to put some other mix tapes on my computer, but I don't even have a cassette deck any more. So I won't be putting that up anytime soon. I will remember you when I begin encoding mix tapes though.
Bob.

I do still check this blog, and sorry for my slow response on this.

I have actually encoded the tape, but I am out of space on my current web server. I am working out some ways to make my music available - a little better than this blog. Hopefully I will get this worked out in the next few months. I guess it has been a few years since I did a new post on here :)
